We give God all the glory for how far He has brought the church: the Redeemed Christian church of God, Reigning King Parish was planted 16 years ago with about 8 members meeting at Chisco transport company conference hall led by pastor Matthew Okorie which has grown through the ranks from being a parish to an Area in April 2007, when Pastor Alex Musa was transferred to the parish, and now to a Zonal H/Q since September 2017.

We progressively moved from chisco to Ikota Shopping Complex in 2009 and then to where we are now at Idado Estate in May 2010. Arriving at Idado Estate, the premises was waterlogged up to the waist level, yet God's providence ensured we were able to sand fill and erect a temporary structure.

Through the tides of time, we have grown to over 400 members having seen the glory of God, the miracle of salvation and harvest of souls among others. Yet, we believe that there is more of God to own, more of His grace to experience.

Glorious things have happened in this place and we yet hear him say, Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.

We came together and shared the vision to the entire church, which by the grace of God many believed and others on the side of impossibility, forgetting that the God we serve is God of possibility. Though it was not easy at the beginning, the giver of the vision also make provisions available both human and financial resources for us to get to where we are today. We give God the glory for everything. This is not the end of the destiny of RKP (Reigning King Parish), we are trusting God for greater testimonies in Jesus Christ Matchless name.
